| KBS Capital Advisors was formed in 2006 as the exclusive advisor for KBS publicly registered, non-traded REIT products which are designed to give individual investors the ability to invest in a similar type of real estate and structured debt as KBS pension fund and institutional partners. These investment vehicles have included KBS REIT*, which closed its offering period in May 2008, after raising more than $1.7 billion and acquiring more than $3 billion in real estate equity and debt. KBS REIT II* was declared effective on April 22, 2008, with a maximum offering size of $2.8 billion. Additionally, on January 8, 2009, KBS filed a registration for KBS Strategic Opportunity REIT**, with a maximum offering size of $2.8 billion.
